Hmm.. I think I smell bleach in the water.
Well all weekend, I have been smelling bleach in the water. At first, I asked my roommate about it and she said she didn’t smell anything so I thot it was just me. It wasn’t until a friend of hers came by and said she was smelling bleach in her shower also. I asked one of my other friends who is in her second term here and she mentioned that sometimes the water treatment plants put too much chlorine in the water as they attempt to purify it to be best of their ability. My thoughts were how long will this be for? and how much chlorine did they really put in it? Out of school today and we are not sure exactly why. I think it has something to do with the schedule they try to maintain every term. They gave us this day off so that every term students will have the same amount of days off. I am not complaining day, I need a day to review, do groceries and also take a trip to town and do some shopping. I will be heading to the grocery store in another 20 minutes and then to Dr. B anatomy review session. Going to Dr. B review session is a little bit nerve wrecking. He feels as if he attacks us with questions. To make matters worse, he knows everyone name and get this he doesn’t even refer to me as Tope like everyone does he makes it a point to call me Temitope. Sometimes, I try to chill in the back of the lab to avoid him calling on me but that even makes me a target. Its not that I don’t know the answer to the questions, the problem his he continues to ask you questions until you have reached your breaking point. I have seen him almost bring grown men into tears it is crazy, but funny at times. Well, his review sessions are very helpful but it is important that one comes prepared everytime.Â
This morning, I read on the web about a fatal plane crash in Nigeria. The plane was flying from Abuja (Nigeria’s capital) to Sokoto and crashed upon lift off. May the souls of those that were lost in this terrible crash rest in peace. Amen. Let’s have a moment of silence for them today. Â
 Stay blessed.
